Reviews & Comparisons of VoIP Providers

Why “Santa” uses VOIP

After my brother’s divorce, they went through the painful process of custody arrangements for their three kids. This year he got them for Thanksgiving, and his wife got them for Christmas. A devoted Dad, it kills him not to be able to have them near him for the holidays. He had the gifts shipped weeks ago, but it’s not the same. “Wish I could see their faces when they open them,” he said. He doesn’t talk much about it, but you can tell the season’s tough for him,
But there’s one lifeline that makes the holiday easier for him: VoIP. He calls them, everyday, to ask about what they did. Did they see Santa? Did they go ice skating? How was the Christmas program? What did they sing? Little details, simple stories, but it makes him feel that he’s still part of their lives. Especially during the holidays.
Last night he talked to his daughter, who was upset because she asked Santa to make her a Christmas fairy for their school Christmas pageant and it didn’t happen. After about 30 minutes, he discovered that the reason she wanted the role so badly was the chance to wear a tiara and pink tutu. The next morning he went to the store and bought the biggest, most beautiful tiara he could find. It will get to his daughter before Christmas day—sent express mail, from “The North Pole”.
He would never have found out about that without the VoIP.
