Vonage is a leading VoIP service provider with a large customer base. It offers many different exciting calling features through its various calling plans. Let us have a look at the different aspects of its service.
Voice Quality
Voice quality is something that customers really want to have at all costs from a VoIP service. A prime reason for customers to switch from the traditional phone system to an internet phone is the quality of voice offered. Vonage is a very big name in VoIP industry, but I was not truly satisfied with the voice quality that they deliver. With such a large customer base, they struggle with the management of their voice quality. I felt their quality of voice just below the excellent mark and they need to look at resolving this issue.
Service Features
Service features are a key ingredient of a good VoIP provider. Vonage offers a feature rich VoIP service. There is a whole bunch of features that you can enjoy using their service like caller ID with name, call transfer, caller ID blocking, call return, do not disturb, assistance block, and Vonage access number. Vonage ensures that you don’t find any important calling feature missing in its service.
Service Reliability
Vonage has a very busy service. Such a large number of customers do also affect the reliability of a service. Only few service providers with such large number of customers can manage their service effectively. I unfortunately was not able to find that reliability factor to the real level of satisfaction that I expect from a VoIP service like Vonage.
Calling Plans
Vonage offers number of calling plans to its customers. They basically offer four types of calling plans. Vonage Lite is the cheapest calling plan that starts from $9.99 per month and the most comprehensive plan offered by Vonage is Vonage Pro offered at $34.99 per month. All calling plans have all the necessary calling features.
Price
Price is a key measure when we look at the different VoIP options. Vonage is a big company, and customers expect them to be low cost. The quality which it offers to its customers dwindles below the standard and its reliability is also becoming questionable with the increasing number of customers. With all these VoIP calling issues in mind, Vonage seems to be expensive. It should review its pricing strategy and give its customers a trouble free service.
Vonage is a major internet phone service but a lot of customers are not satisfied from it, because of it lacks dependability and its voice quality has also become distorted.
