Next stop is called “iConnectHere Broadband Phone”. They offer a very affordable calling rates (which starts at about $20) either for local, long distance or even international telephone needs. With such plans you can have a saving of up to 80% against the traditional phone service. Moreover, they plans comes with tons of features all for free.

There are two more services that you can check out, namely Skype and NetZero. Skype is the probably one of the pioneer in VoIP. They are one of the first VoIP providers who offer ordinary phone numbers anywhere in the globe. Skype allows its users to make free calls over the internet to just about anyone who happens to have a Skype software. This software is also free and is quite user friendly, so downloading it will not be a problem.

But then with the sudden influx of complaints against Skype, it might be a better idea to check out the next option – NetZero. Just like the Skype, NetZero also allows its user to call people anywhere in the world for free with the use of their computer. With NetZero Voice long distance calling is as easy as instant messaging, but instead of typing you get to talk to the other person for free with the use of your Internet connection. This is also very easy to use, simply download the software and then sign-in using your NetZero member ID. As soon as you’re logged in you’re ready to make a call, so just dial any NetZero member ID to start talking for free. But what’s great here is that it works great either with dial-up or broadband connection.

Staying connected across thousands of miles has never been this easy, or this cheap that it’s basically free!
